The term “notary public” only refers to common-law notaries and should not be confused with civil-law notaries, which are lawyers who have passed their bar exam. A common-law notary who is not a lawyer is forbidden from providing legal advice.

Cost, Fees, Extras
There is a service fee of $60.00 (negotiable) for Miami-Dade, plus a state mandated $10.00 fee for each notary stamp that I apply. Mileage is included in the service fee-so no surprise costs at the end of our meeting.
The only Extra Fee is Parking Fee if necessary.
